The GroundSwell project and Transplant Australia

Transplant Australia was approached by the GroundSwell project earlier this year to work with Year 11 drama students at Penrith High School to produce a piece about organ and tissue donation and transplantation. Lizzie, Max Mohr, Matt, Jarom, Kristen, Julie from the Office, Oliver Zammit and Nicole all spent time with the students sharing their stories to enable Year 11 to research and develop an 8 minute performance. The students first performed the piece on June 23 and what an incredible end result! Engaging with those directly affected enabled these young people to truly capture every aspect of the subject in an inspiring and emotive way. The piece has already been chosen for the regional drama festival. Congratulations to a very talented group of students! More
