QLD Branch

Transplant Australia Queensland branch has members from all areas of Queensland and northern New South Wales. Members live as far north as Atherton, south to Lismore and Kingscliff and west to Charleville.

TA QLD organises "Come and Try days" which are sporting and recreational activity days, held at various times throughout the year and at different locations to encourage members from all areas to experience new activities and to make new friendships. Social activities are also held at different locations to cater for members who live outside the Brisbane metropolitan area.

Many Queensland members have attended both the Australian and World Transplant Games and find them a wonderful and worthwhile experience. The Games are a special time to demonstrate the high quality of life that is achieved following a transplant.

The annual Thanksgiving Service is held at the end of May to honour donor families and recipients. Everyone is welcome.
We encourage everyone who has an interest in transplantation, whether as a recipient, supporter, living donor or family member of a deceased donor, to become a member. Newsletters are published every two months and articles are always welcome.

Transplant Australia Queensland Branch invites you to contact the executive members at any time for information. We look forward to welcoming new members.
