Transplant Australia Junior Branch is incorporated as part of each branch of Transplant Australia. Each state branch has their own junior members who are encouraged to participate in all branch activities, the Australian Transplant Games and World Transplant Games. This is a great way for the children to show the quality of life one can experience following a life saving transplant.
The juniors are catered for in each branch by holding fun activities suitable for all age groups and by including them in all events. We encourage a junior delegate to be part of each branchs committee, ensuring they are a part of the decision making process.
Transplant Australia juniors have attended camps with their family and friends in each state, participated in the Australian Transplant Cricket Club cricket training clinic and attended functions at Admiralty House, including a Living Donor Acknowledgement function, and Donor Family Thanksgiving Services, held annually in each state.
Other recreational and sporting activities include ferret racing, the infamous TA WA branch Mouse Race, the kids activities program designed specifically for children at the Australian Transplant Games and various individual branch events.
We welcome all junior transplant recipients to join Transplant Australia with their siblings, parents, family and friends. Please, come and join in the fun.
Membership fees: $15 Individual, $25 a family.
Living Donors and Family Members of Deceased Donors have honorary membership
